Lucy Cuddy Dining - Anchorage

Wonderful restaurant on the UAA campus staffed by culinary students. Wonderful special menu items from appetizers, salads, main course and large variety of deserts. We have gone a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. Very reasonably priced considering the high end offerings. Usually only open for lunch when school is in session. Check the website.

Can be a very good value on special food made fresh by aspiring chefs. There are also usually creative desserts as well. Must have reservations made online in advance.

This is a lovely restaurant on the campus of UAA. It is staffed by culinary students and is amazingly wonderful. A little hard to find if you're not familiar with the campus but worth the search. Prices are really good for the quality of the food served. Only drawback besides the location, is it's only open when the school is. They do validate parking.

However, one person in our group has a high sensitivity to spice and is allergic to black pepper. He ordered a dish that wasn't labeled as spicy but turned out to be. After tasting my meal, he decided to order the same stuffed chicken I had. Despite informing the staff about his allergy to pepper, his new dish came out with significantly more pepper than mine. Thankfully, they rectified the situation by bringing him a third dish that suited him and didn't charge us for the first two attempts.
