After coming out of COVID restrictions, I visited this restaurant as part of my Anchorage tour. We didn't have a reservation and the place was fully booked for the evening, but luckily we found seating at the bar. The atmosphere was great, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was outstanding, especially the flaming saganaki—it was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return. View all feedback.

had dinner there last week with my family. two of us have lasagne for our main course. we never had a lasagne with absolutely zero taste. I couldn't even finish it. the rest of the family said they were good. So I'm not evaluating them. View all feedback.
After have been working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years I have to say that this is the worse service that I have encountered in years. First off the only good part about our experience was the food was spot on: we had the fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti with meatballs so with that being said cheers to the kitchen. The service was the biggest down fall for me, because upon arrival within sight from the door way we could tell that over half the restaurant was empty, and the guy at the door said “umm let me see if I have someone who can serve you..” at this point I’m already starting to wonder about this place (why wouldn’t there be someone to wait on us, this is a restaurant? . We get seated and then wait about 10-15 minutes to even have water at our table, then we wait another 30 minutes for the server to actually come to our table. At this point we were all fine with water because we knew it would probably take an eternity to even get a drink. She finally showed up and while she was polite yes, she took her sweet time. We ordered all was fine but goodness me it took another 35 minutes to even get our food out to the table, while she was serving our food to the table she was barking orders at the busser. (Mood killer Then we all finish and table was never cleared and we were never asked if we needed or wanted anything else in fact the check was never brought to the table, we had asked the busser at the table next to us 3 times to come over and every time he hung his head and ignored us even after looking directly at us..all I can say is wow. Eventually we had to get up and chase the server down just so we could pay. No customer should ever have to track their server down. Then to top it all off the server gave us this line “I can only do so much, and I’m under so much stress!” I’m sorry but no employee should be bothering or expressing their concerns to the customers ever. Customers to out to have a nice time not to be bombarded with your excuses or sad life’s. This is NOT hospitality!! Thank you for the good food but if you don’t have the quality service to back it up we won’t be back!
No matter what you're looking for, Little Italy provides it under the watchful eye of owner PJ. The food is presented nicely and substitutions (veggies instead of pasta) are accommodated with a smile. We consider this one of the best local hangouts and places to grab dinner with friends. And boy, do they do Greek food right!
Hate to say it, but was so disappointed with my last visit to this what has been a very good restaurant in the past. I enjoy their spring lamb. They still have a lamb shank but it was covered with a demi sauce that ruined the delicate flavor of the lamb. It reminded me of the frozen lamb shanks you get from Costco, not that they are poor in quality, but the spring lamb served in the past was the best. They also did away with the rice that goes along with the dish. Not the same, so will move on.
I am not one to leave a bad review, or any review usually. I feel inclined to leave a review because our experience was so poor. Our waitress was new, her excuse for everything, the bus boy never made it to refill our waters and our meals took excruciatingly long to come out. Everything came out one at a time. The salad was mostly just lettuce and the Italian dressing was tomatoey. The Marsala has a strange combination of marinara over penne on the side. I preferred not to have meat so I ended up with just mushrooms in the Marsala sauce. We were there for over two hours. Our waitress was very flustered and struggled remembering our orders.
Food was good, hardly anyone there not surprising since it was a little after 8pm. I had greek spaghetti as did my sister good flavor just dry as was the Italian sausage I ordered with it , mom had regular spaghetti. When waitress found out it was my sisters b’day they did bring a baklava and gelato out to share. Staff was pleasant. Just not the same as I remember from years ago.
