Description

Nestled in the Crowne Plaza, Juno offers classic American fare and a generous breakfast buffet that can be excellent—fresh, well-presented, and great value for hotel guests. Service and dinner quality are uneven: attentive, friendly staff often salvage inconsistent dishes, while cooks rotate—leading to overcooked or underseasoned plates and occasional long waits. Crowd levels stay low, creating a relaxed, vibrant dining room. With a limited beer selection and some cleanliness hiccups, Juno is a convenient hotel restaurant worth trying for breakfast but be cautious for dinner.

I've been looking forward to trying this place for a while now. It's not that I've heard outstanding reviews; rather, as the only Yelp employee in Alaska, I feel it’s my duty to check it out.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews because I recognize that many factors can affect a dining experience, and I tend to be quite accommodating regarding that. Nonetheless, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the service here...

The waitstaff were friendly, and the interior had a nice atmosphere, although it could have been cleaner. I ordered the herb chicken and tried a bit of the club sandwich; both dishes were...

I'm on the fence about Juno. After a week's worth of visits, breakfast was consistently 5 stars—everything was fresh and well-prepared, especially the reindeer sausage. The fruit was fresh, hot dishes were served hot, and there was a good variety including yogurt, milk, breads, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, juice, and coffee. Dinner, however, was hit or miss. The shrimp tacos were great, though a bit too spicy, and the chicken quesadilla was amazing the first time. The second time, though, it arrived with no chicken, barely any cheese, and was mostly salsa, so I had to send it back. The staff are attentive and welcoming. For a hotel restaurant with a revolving kitchen staff, I'd rate it 3.5 stars overall—fix the dinner and apps, and it could easily be 4.5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised by how underrated this restaurant is! I never had high expectations for dining in hotels, but this place completely changed my perspective. The waitress who served us was incredibly friendly and presented some excellent dishes at a reasonable price. She truly went above and beyond in her service, perfectly balancing attentiveness with just the right amount of discretion. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
