What Dexter R doesn't like about Home Town:
In Anchorage, it's not really fair to have high expectations, but I've visited this restaurant a few times recently. Unfortunately, I've found that most of the side dishes weren't fresh. View all feedback.

Now for the food—absolutely amazing! The Haneul Pajeon (seafood pancake) was fantastic. It had a generous portion, delicious flavors, and a great amount of fresh seafood. The presentation was lovely, too. The unlimited banchan (side dishes) were wonderful, featuring everything from kimchi to pickled radishes and cucumbers that were all outstanding. The grilled pork and beef were good, though not the highest quality I've encountered. It's fun to cook at the table, making the experience enjoyable. The spicy stir-fried dishes were fantastic, particularly the tender squid coated in a gochujang-based sauce, accompanied by creamy napa cabbage and crispy cucumbers and carrots. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but the experience is worth it. Once seated, we didn't feel rushed at all, making for a fantastic dining experience. I wouldn't hesitate to return!
This was my first visit, and I was lucky to go with a group of friends who were familiar with the menu. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the family-style dinner was fantastic! If you're looking to try something new or are a fan of Korean cuisine, I highly recommend this place.
