Excellent Japanese restaurant! I called ahead and by the time I arrived five minutes later, my food was ready. The service was incredibly fast, and the server was friendly. The restaurant was clean, and the menu was simple and straightforward. I ordered the Chicken Bento Box, which had a huge portion. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite at a great price. Plus, there's plenty of parking available! View all feedback.
What JeffH doesn't like about Craftsman Pizza Grill Anaheim:
The drinks were fantastic, and we happened to be there when the rep from Heaven's Door Bourbon was offering samples. If it weren't for that, I would have to say the experience wasn't worth it. There were five employees in the bar area, yet no one asked if we needed anything after serving our first round. I ordered garlic fries, but after waiting half an hour, I had to inquire about them. When they finally arrived, th... View all feedback.
Great service and food. The menu has large selection of pizzas or you can just build your own along with other items including sandwiches, salads, appetizers and more. We go here often and would recommend this to others. Check out the nightly specials as well.
GREAT FOR BRUNCH!!! It’s plated, the flavors were fantastic. Compliments to the chef.
Let me start by saying it truly pains me to write this review. We absolutely LOVE the Craftsman in Yorba Linda. We heard the new Anaheim location had brunch we were super excited to come try it. We were seated promptly, it wasn’t too busy yet, only a few tables occupied. The host brought us drinks. I order the Craftsman Benny and hubby ordered steak and eggs, steak rare, over easy eggs. First, it took an inordinate amount of time to get our food based on the limited amount of patrons. Our server came by twice to apologize and say it should be out any minute. When his arrived it had scrambled eggs. She apologized and took it back. 2nd round, the eggs were perfectly raw. Not soft done or light poach, but completely clear, you could see through it to the plate. It truly looked like they cracked the eggs directly on the plate. We stopped her to show her and she actually said, “I noticed that when I brought it. I’m sorry.” Well if you saw it, why did you bring it???? Third round, nicely cooked eggs but the steak was way beyond well done. Absolutely nowhere near rare or even a hint of pink. We gave up, ate the eggs and asked for the check. When she took our plates, she saw the steak and said how overdone it was. She apologized again, took his meal off the bill and told us that it’s usually not so awful. We told her we know, we frequent YL often and maybe they just still have kinks to work out. Overall, she was very kind and did remove his meal, which she didn’t need to do. I’ve never had such a disaster with something as simple as steak eggs. If you can’t get the basics right, there will continue to be struggle and unhappy customers. We are hoping it was a fluke, and we will try again. I will definitely write a retraction if it’s better. One other note: when my Benny arrived, I asked for more of the chipotle hollandaise that was on it. After having to ask twice, she then brought plain hollandaise. It’s a small thing, but just added to the overall disappointment.
