We had to ord... read more There were five of us, and when our food arrived, it was severely overcooked—the fish literally broke in half, and the burgers were extremely dry. We had to order and pick up our meals from a hatch in the wall, and the food was served in boxes with wooden cutlery. It was by far the worst meal of the weekend. After a long drive, we had no other option but to eat this disappointing meal. When we voiced our concerns, the manager told me I had a grumpy expression from the moment I arrived, which felt completely unprofessional. She then insisted they had received excellent reviews and apologized that we didn't enjoy their street food. She didn’t listen to my complaints, talked over me throughout, and offered no compensation or empathy. There are many other dining options in Dingle!

They serve the perfect pint of Guinness, attract a friendly local crowd, and have a fantastic atmosphere. The pub offers a variety of general merchandise—not just souvenirs, but all kinds of items you can purchase. Still, the main reason to visit Curran's is for the drinks and engaging conversation. The unspoken rule here is if you want to keep to yourself, take a seat at a table. But if you manage to grab a spot at the bar, be ready to make new friends and enjoy fascinating chats. That was exactly my experience; within five minutes, I was chatting and bonding with a regular local. The menu complements the welcoming vibe, making Curran's a truly great pub!
