Contribute FeedbackThe Blue Zone offers a unique dining experience with delicious French-style pizzas and salads. Despite a challenging owner, the rest of the staff provide excellent service and create a welcoming atmosphere. The food is consistently outstanding, with a variety of options including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The ambiance is quirky and casual, making it a fun place to dine for both locals and tourists. With top-notch service, generous portions, and accommodating dairy-free options, The Blue Zone is a hidden gem in Dingle that is definitely worth a visit.
I have to respectfully disagree with JonDoeeewf's review. My experience at the Blue Zone was exceptional in every aspect. The owner was friendly and the food was delicious. He even suggested a wine that perfectly complemented our meal. In light of the challenges that restaurants have faced due to Covid, I believe we should be more understanding and appreciative of the efforts they are making to stay open. It seems to me that JonDoeeewf may have high expectations. I would suggest giving it another try or perhaps staying home next time.
Pizzas were phenomenal! Great celiac options but the salad is very giant! The atmosphere is very layed back and the staff were very friendly
Hostile owner seems to get off on the fact that his intentional passive aggressiveness can’t stop the flow of business in peak dingle summer season. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who respects themselves.
This was our second time going to the bluezone, this place is a hidden gem …. Where do I even start this time we orderd a vegetarian and gluten free pizza and it was absolutely splendid I was very impressed with the vegan dessert it was mouth-watering!!!!And the service was absolutely superb
If you are looking for a French pizza restaurant with a hostile environment that would rival French air traffic control or London Underground strikes, then this is just the place for you. Where do I start.. You have an interesting walk up to the restaurant with what can only be described as Minimal effort in health and safety.. all I will say is be prepared to damage a few limbs straight off the bat. On entrance, you are greeted by a man who could pass as a dobbleganger to Jeff Goldblum, with his stylish black specs. This man is the owner/ front of house and how he manages to put himself forward for this job is beyond me. Drinks and food... If you like an owner to contradict you, gaslight you and even take a swig of a glass of wine you purchased then look no further, this man is the one for you. The unprofessionalism was shocking to say the least.. rude, arrogant, obnoxious would be generous words to describe this man. I would have received a better reception in the Kremlin. Along with multiple options not being available but any small change in request like a Gluten free base, causes emotional and physical pain to the owner. His garlic bread can also be purchased in the frozen aisle in SuperValu for those customers interested (BYOS) The restaurant owner is highly unprofessional and I would only recommend to people who enjoy stressful situations along with a room temperature similar to the Sahara desert Apart from the owner, the rest of the staff were a breath of fresh air! Respectful and professional.. the fact they even choose to work in this restaurant is a mystery, would not be me. To the owner: stop being rude to customers, we pay for your business to operate, not to sit there feeling like your sitting your final exam in school or trying to pitch to your boss why you deserve a raise.
