Traveling through the area we stopped at this restaurant. The owners are from Naples and very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is old world Italy charming. The food was prepared and presented beautifully and more than one is able to finish. When we are in the area again it will be a must stop place. The linguine with red clam sauce was enough for two meals for sure. You won't be disappointed if you go there. View all feedback.
What Alex C doesn't like about Valentino's:
Let me start off by saying the most wonderful part of my dining experience at Valentinos was the moderately cold Coors Light, aslo a quite comfy red leather midback chair. There was a total of 12 people, including my girlfriend and myself in the restaurant, and yet, it took almost an hour for our order to be taken, and then another 45 minutes for the food to be brought to us. Upon arrival the food looked unnapealing.... View all feedback.
Excellent customized service with Vitorrio and his beautiful wife , food was authentic traditional Italian everything was hot and delicious people in the Amsterdam should support this local restaurant in our community.
Service was great. Nice ambience. Food was very good. The homemade bread was perfect. I had the chicken marsala and my husband had salmon French cooked both very tasty, potatoes were great, and the green beans with a hint of garlic were excellent. We had a carafe of wine that was very reasonably price...we definitely will be back.

Upon arrival the food looked unnapealing. First bite, pasta is far past overdone, to the point where linguini falls apart when picking it up, chicken was quite dry, and water tasted like blood. I'm not sad to say, but i will not be returning to Valentinos. I aoligze to anyone who has the unpleasantly of eating here.
My husband and I started going to this restaurant earlier this year. We've probably been there about 10 times since. The waitress/owner couldn't be nicer. She makes the bread too. The food is great. The pasta sauce is perfect. The prices are very reasonable. I love the ambiance.
This was the absolute worst place I have ever eaten at. We walked in at 7pm on Fri night and there was no one in there, literally no one! The food was disgusting. We paid $8 for 3 buttom mushrooms that were saturaed in olive oil and no stuffing, with 6 of us it was hard to share. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they came out 3 small sticks that were previously frozen. Nothing was homemade. The sauce was watered down Prego. The spaghetti was over cooked and the meat was tough and saturated in oil again!! My friends got charged $12 dollars for club sodas and $1.65 extra for blue cheese dressing! When we tried to dispute our $150 bill, the 2 70 year old workers/owners went crazy! They kept blamming us for the horrible food and service. Do not ever go here, it was beyond disgusting and I will never go back into there again!!!!!!!!
