Panera Bread - Amsterdam
Panera Bread
Description
Visiting this restaurant has become a mixed bag lately. Many patrons lament steep price increases which feel unjustified, especially given the declining food quality and service standards. While past experiences were often enjoyable with delicious offerings and friendly staff, recent visits reveal problems such as poorly executed orders and lackluster dishes. Yet, amidst the concerns, some still appreciate the inviting atmosphere, free Wi-Fi, and the fantastic coffee. For those seeking a casual meal or a quiet spot to work, it remains a decent option, but many customers are reconsidering their loyalty amid these changes.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Every dish was delicious, and my order was accurate. I particularly loved the Broccoli Mac and Cheese and would highly recommend giving it a try.
The food here is mediocre at best. However, the prices are exorbitant. Charging $12 for a half sandwich and a small bowl of soup is absurd, and asking for an extra $4 for a small drink is out of line. Panera really needs to reassess its pricing because the quality of the food does not warrant such high costs.
I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My Mango Smoothie arrived without a straw, and the Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup was mostly just broth, with very few noodles, pieces of chicken, or carrots. Even though I was feeling unwell, I tried to appreciate the broth, but I couldn't help but feel there should have been more substance in a $10 bowl of soup. I won't be ordering this dish again.
The Chicken Noodle Soup was all broth, it had 3 carrots and 2 noodles and 1 piece of chicken! It was ridiculous. My Mediterranean Bowl was also just rice and quinoa! There was almost nothing else in it. I order these items all the time and Im not sure what was going on?
I don't understand why I've come back to this restaurant so many times, given their lack of accuracy, the casual indifference from the management, and the steep prices for less-than-satisfying portions. If I'm paying over $10 for macaroni and cheese, I expect a full bowl, but that hasn't been the case lately. To make matters worse, on my most recent visit for pastries, I spotted a large rat trap right outside the front door. I know that all establishments need to have traps, but placing one right at the entrance is a big turn-off. I’ve made my decision—I’m done.
