Walked right passed it but luckily there was a sign outside mentioning they had coffee and breakfast so we wandered in and had a late brunch (it was around 2pm and they were still doing breakfast! yaay! Fantastische plek om wat te eten drinken. De 'Club 59 ' is echt een aanrader en de cappuccino is heerlijk.

They have excellent coffee and the authentic yet cozy look makes you want to sit there for hours and enjoy the calm. I had the Spiegelei 59 : eggs sunny side up with potatoes and Pata Negra, a spanish ham i believe. It was excellent! We had a fresh OJ and Carrot juice with that and the price was very reasonable. The bread was fresh out of the oven! We had a wonderful brunch and the service was really good as well, I could recommend it to anyone who is in the Leidseplein area!
This little cafe is delightful, with excellent food and service. We had the Homemade Beefburger, Mackerel Pâté, and Molletes, and it was all very tasty. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere... I highly recommend it.
Excellent food, great music Tried the makerel sandwich and the sliced beef one, both were amazing, and not too pricey.
