Great brand new hotel in 5 min proximity to metro which makes cruising to the center and airport easy. Big, nicely decorated rooms with kinky Amsterdam vibe see through shower cabin..

Hotel is is in a good location and staff are very friendly and helpful, however I found out that full 3 night payment had been taken from my credit card 6 hour prior to check in. This was not a holding payment this was actually full payment. I understand that hotels need to cover themselves, however a holding charge to ensure that first night is covered is sufficient. I actually paid the full rate for the suite and not a reduced early payment rate.

Great hotel, rooms were lovely, spacious and very clean. You can even rent a guitar and use one of the amps the have in there if your so inclined. The staff were amazing too especially Thomas and Jay. They helped us get checked in, talked to us about the hotel and gave us a few tips on where to go around the city. I couldn't have felt more welcomed, will definitely be back.

I really enjoy staying at Ruby Hotels. I have always had a good experience with them, except for the food at Ruby Emma in Amsterdam. While their breakfast was good, I was disappointed by the quality of their small bites. They were serving guests frozen pizza that tasted like the kind you can find at grocery stores. Even the store-bought ones tasted better. I gave the restaurant an overall rating of 3 stars, mainly because of the staff. Four out of five of their staff were amazing, but there was always one who had an attitude. After trying the pizza, I left it and went upstairs to Ventuno, which was exceptional. Given the high price charged by the hotel bar, I wouldn't recommend trying their small bites.

I was part of the pre-opening team of QO Amsterdam…the property that is now Ruby and it was just a sad experience. The furniture looks like someone went on Marktplaats (Craigslist) as it’s just a mix of furniture that doesn’t seem to compliment each other. Overal very dark and lacking ambiance. Service missing follow up if things are well and the table needs anything, I won’t be returning.
