The bacon is... read more I was very excited to try the ‘English Breakfast’ from here, and was somewhat disappointed as there is truly nothing English about this breakfast. The bacon is American style (the kind you can snap like a twig) and sweet, the mushrooms are strangely seasoned and diced, and 20% of the plate is salad. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re expecting a proper fry-up. They should call it the Mortimer Breakfast instead of an English Breakfast. Staff were nice and attentive. Overall some expensive eggs. They serve good quality food; I love that the eggs are organic! My husband I both loved our breakfasts. The portions were a great size. There’s indoor seating which is really tiny, but cute. Also outdoor seating. Def recommend!
