I have rarely seen such a stylish and lovingly furnished place. There is something to discover around every corner (antique furniture, old engravings and pictures from the region, the garden). We couldn 't help it and 'strayed ' a bit through the different rooms. I think every corner could tell 1000 stories. The owners personally take care of their guests with a lot of heart. Dinner was very good too. And in the area you can go hiking. Was a wonderful weekend.

Operation and service by the two o... read more A really nice place to stay and really good food. The dinner menu was some of the best I have ever eaten at a moderate price. Operation and service by the two owners are impeccable and consistently friendly and professional. Even special requests such as a particularly early departure with checkout the evening before are easily accommodated. There was no TV in my single room, which surprised me at first. Instead, I used the time in the evening to read in the cozy living room; the missing TV was not a loss. The house is located directly on the old Gotthardstrasse. This makes it easy to get to and there are also plenty of parking spaces. On the other hand, it is also exposed to a certain amount of noise, especially due to the numerous motorbikes looking for beautiful mountain passes. But these are only tiny negative points in an overall great hotel experience in a time-honoured and well-kept piece of Swiss hotel history. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4

I have rarely seen a place so stylishly and lovingly furnished. There is something to discover on every corner (antique furniture, old engravings and pictures from the region, the garden). We couldn't help it and wandered around the different rooms a bit. I think every corner could tell 1000 stories. The owners personally look after their guests with a lot of heart. The dinner was also very good. And there are wonderful hikes in the area. Was a wonderful weekend.
