Given that Amite... read more I have consistently received outstanding service at this restaurant, and one of its most notable features is that they shuck their own oysters. Given that Amite is renowned for its oyster processing, visiting during the Amite Oyster Festival in March allows you to truly appreciate the local pride that shines through. The food at Guy's is exceptional. In fact, I can confidently say that after trying some of the finest po-boy shops in New Orleans, I've never had an oyster po-boy as delicious as the one here. To create the perfect oyster po-boy, you need high-quality oysters, expert frying, and excellent bread—and Guy's excels in all these aspects.
