Thi... read more Of all the French restaurants I've eaten at in Amiens, I've always had a great experience at Big Ben, with the main differentiator being the friendly staff. This is the one restaurant where I always felt welcome compared to the other stuffy places that cost way more. The restaurant itself has an excellent ambience with warm light from a dangling chandelier in the front of the house. It would be a shame if the food didn't match the ambience and the friendly staff, but fortunately, that wasn't the case. The food, in all cases, was excellent. If I were to nitpick, the portion of the fish dishes was smaller than the meat dishes, and the coconut rice that was served as a side dish was undercooked and crunchy. Other than that, every dish was excellent, with the steak being particularly memorable. 10/10, would recommend.
