I was looking forward to trying this deli, but was disappointed. We stopped in for sandwiches for a picnic lunch. We ordered the Mexican wrap and the ham and Swiss on raisin bread. The Mexican wrap had kind of a nasty flavor like it had...too much chili powder or cumin or something. Or maybe it was Nova Scotia’s version of what Mexican food should taste like. I was unable to visit this restaurant for a long time because I live 20 minutes away and work from home. They are only open during mid-day most of the year. However, when I finally had the opportunity to dine there, the food was absolutely delicious. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a menu that changes daily and sources ingredients locally. While some found the food bland or disappointing, others enjoyed the delicious and healthy items for lunch. The friendly staff and lively atmosphere make it a great stop for a coffee break with friends. Despite some quality control issues and unapologetic staff, the unique and delicious dishes like chicken pesto toastie and smoked salmon quiche stood out to customers. Although the owner's behavior may be off-putting, the homemade soups, tasty wraps, and vegan chocolate cake make this deli worth a visit.
