Bob Evans Restaurant - Amherst

Dad and I came there an hour before they were closed and were not sure what kind of food we wanted to get. We had great service from the young lady and our food came out hot. That was our best experience with Bob's Evans. Thank you to the friendly staff and also a thank you to the cook who was in service for the amazing meal.

The staff was friendly. We sat right away and waitress was great. The food was good. The runner brought us some wrong order. It was bad for the table next to us when we got her French toast that we tried to send back because we knew we didn't order him, but the waitress said as soon as they met the table, they couldn't take him back. Coffee was refilled or filled several times. Usually stop here once or twice a month.

Food was great, service was great. Bob. Evans in Amherst is usually better than the other Bob Evans in this area. I need to try her sausage if you don't have it. All right.

Stuffed for late dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food came out pretty fast and hot. Our server was friendly and attentive. She even gave us a free cookie instead of beverage refills. Other BE in our area are ok, but this really went over the norm. Well done!

Think of Bob Evans as a Dennys with a bit better food, but a bit less variety. I've enjoyed the one in Amherst for the most part. The chicken fried steak is probably the best I've had at a chain restaurant.
