Panera Bread - Amherst

The service here was pretty bad. There was one person in bakery who was helpful. There were four others who were more concerned with socializing than they were doing their job. Three in particular were just hanging around until a fourth person came out from the back after 10 minutes of me waiting to make my sandwich. Maybe I wouldn't have noticed this as much if I was just traveling around town, but you feel it when you're traveling on the turnpike and you want to get something fast that isn't fried or fatty. I was half tempted to go grab an apron given that I used to work at a Panera Bread once upon a time, and if my then-manager saw what was happening behind the counter, she would've flipped.

We ordered 45 minutes ago. Our order has been the next up on the screen for most of that time. They keep skipping our order for the next ones that are mostly soup. We have 3 sandwiches.

Turkey chili soup is very good along with southwest chicken avocado sandwich. ?I havnt been here in years, and a sandwich and soup with medium drink was $18. The soup was very good I must admit. You'll have to decide if it's worth $18. Certainly better than McDonald's but you could get cracker barrel for $18. ???

Bunch of lazy, expressionless gen z’s working here. My breakfast sandwich was thrown together and mostly stale bread. Half the size of what’s depicted. They opened the store late too. Get your ish together.

If someone held me captive and told me only to choose one restaurant for the rest of my life I would choose this Panera. I was absolutely flabbergasted by the terrific service from Angelica!!!
