My wife and I were looking for a restaurant with a few vegan options and we left us on commissions. ames has a few restaurants that offer vegan options, but the... read more My wife and I were looking for a restaurant with a few vegan options and we left us on commissions. ames has a few restaurants that offer vegan options, but the choice is usually limited to one or two options. in contrast to this I counted 6 vegan options on commission menu. the atmosphere in restaurant is pretty good date night material. if they are looking for something that I am something more intimate, I also recommend the cafe in north ames. in service was our experience great. the waiting staff was enthusiastic and helpful and everything was immediately brought to our table. my wife enjoyed the phenomenal brussel sprout salad, the roasted spits that were covered with the salat were the proverbial icing on the cake. I ordered the vegan tamale that was so much more than I expected. not only was the tamale itself delicious, but it was accompanied by a lot of sauces and foaming, which let the whole meal sing. if you've been looking for something new to ames and haven't tried out provisionally, you should give him a shot!

While there are a few restaurants in Ames that offer vegan dishes, they typically only have one or two options. However, Provisional impressed us with a selection of 6 vegan dishes on their menu. The atmosphere at the restaurant is perfect for a date night, but if you're looking for something more intimate, I would also recommend The Cafe in North Ames. The service at Provisional was excellent, with enthusiastic and helpful staff who quickly brought everything to our table. My wife loved the Brussels Sprout Salad, which was topped with delicious roasted sprouts. I ordered the Vegan Tamale and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, especially when paired with the various sauces and foams. If you're looking to try something new in Ames, I highly recommend giving Provisional a chance!

The flavor pro... read more We came here for my boyfriend's birthday a little over a week ago. His dish was good but I am still day-dreaming about the pasta dish that I got. The flavor profile was complex and complimentary. I honestly can't wait to drive through Ames again so I caneat here once more. I would die a happy person if I could have that broccoli rabe pasta again. Our server (who was extremelypleasant) suggested squeezing a bit of lemon over the pasta and it honestly brought all of the flavors together and brightenedup the dish immensely. Whatever she advises, listen! I'm sorry that I didn't get her name though. The restaurant itself isbeautiful and they have a breakfast/bakery/take-out counter on one side and dining area on the other. Both are aestheticallyappealing. We were sat right away in a booth by the window. Desserts were just a bit too sweet for me but my boyfriend liked itand it was his birthday so that's all that matters ??????????? I can't wait to go back and try something else!

The venue features... read more We dined here on July 23, 2022, and found it conveniently located near the ISU campus. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The venue features a full restaurant and a separate deli, all in one place. I ordered the Brussels sprout salad with added chicken, which was delicious. The dessert options were impressive; I highly recommend the key lime cheesecake. My friend tried the peach crisp, and it was also fantastic.
