I was shocked by the poor customer service at this Subway location. The employee was rude and raised her voice when I asked basic questions. She also refused to share her name. Although I’ve been a loyal customer for years, I won’t be coming back.
When I paid for my meal, I tried to show some understanding toward a staff member's behavior by mentioning it to her larger co-worker, thinking she might be having a rough day. Unfortunately, that co-worker was dismissive and just gave a quick "have a nice day," trying to rush me out. While my food was okay, I'm seriously reconsidering coming back if this is how customers are treated. The only positive was a polite, friendly man with a beard who was accommodating. He’s the reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. If the staff keep treating customers like this, they risk losing business. The world has enough negativity already; a little kindness would make a big difference.
A very rude woman was working here. She had long black hair with the sides shaved. I asked for light sauce, but she put a heavy amount on instead. It was a spicy sauce, and when I told her it was too much for my stomach, she laughed in my face and said that's the normal amount and she couldn't remove it. When I asked for some sauce to be taken off, she yelled no, then threw the sandwich aside, effectively wasting it.
The food is acceptable, but we had a frustrating experience while ordering our sandwiches. One of the female staff members informed my boyfriend and me that she could potentially lose her job for adding toppings to a sandwich that was already toasted, unless we had specifically requested them in advance. She was quite curt and impolite, which is not typical for our visits here. It felt like an excessive reaction from a chain that generally customizes sandwiches to order. Next time, we might opt to drive across town rather than take advantage of the convenience of this location.
