I fully acknowledge that the sauce is thicker and definitely American-style cuisine (as advertised) rather than authentic Chinese. I was a bit surprised, as I didn't expect the flavors to be different from what I'm used to, especially the bell pepper and the other elements that didn't have that familiar orange flavor.
