Our first time here and definitely won’t be our last! Food was excellent! Our server was wonderful! Great date night!
My recent dining experience at Mokja was exceptional and I feel compelled to share how amazing this restaurant is. We thoroughly enjoyed and finished the dumplings, eggplant, Korean fried chicken, brussel sprouts, incredible ramen, and bibimbap. We even saved room for dessert, which was a delicious and fresh Korean donut. Each dish that came out of the kitchen was absolutely delicious, and it seemed like every dish was even better than the last. After our meal, we spoke with the chef/owner, Dan, who was kind and interesting. He is a skilled restauranteur who is easy to root for. We had an unforgettable meal and will definitely be returning again in the future.
Mokja is Ambler's hidden gem. The food is incredible and the prices are very reasonable! The chef personally came to our table multiple times to explain the specials and make sure everything was perfect. The service was excellent. The highlight of our meal was the special octopus with rice cakes and snap peas. The octopus was cooked for 5 hours and was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant! Our experience surpassed all expectations.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried at this restaurant. The octopus special by Chef Daniel was outstanding, and the chicken wings were deliciously crispy. The only suggestion we have is to rename the edamame dish to a dumpling. The gentleman who hosted us was friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to returning soon.
