We’ve had gnocchi, bolognese, oxtail ragu, Caesar salad, arugula salad, andchicken parm. All amazing. Experience with staff will not give you the warm and fuzzies and we once ordered online for a Sunday.Pending charges to the card and showed up to locked doors with no notification on any social media pages that there were anychanges to hours. Had 8 starving people and no food to serve.

After our waiter told us it was the house specialty two of us ordered the veal chop. It was dry and overdone. Our fault for not asking the price! The bill came and it was $95,90 for the two! Definitely not worth it! Then when wepaid the bill we figured the tip wrong (our mistake! , and the water came back to our table very annoyed asked what was thematter with the service? We said it was fine, then he threw the bill on the table and said it was worth more then 10%! Weapologized, said we figured it wrong, and he stomped away! Then, when we were recalculating it, he comes back to the table withhis phone and tells us what the tip should be! We should have just got up and left, but we changed the tip… he didn’t get20%!! Will NEVER go back! Since then, we have heard from a lot of people that said they will never go back! How we miss theVillage Tavern!

From the minu... read more I don’t typically write restaurant reviews but our experience at Ristorante Imperatore was so fantastic that I was compelled to write this review. From the minute I called them to make the reservation I felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere. We werewelcomed at the door by Dominic and he continued to give us his expert attention all evening. Lots of delicious dishes to choosefrom on the menu and a few outstanding specials. The pasta is homemade, the sauces are exceptionally fresh tasting andcreative. I am a foodie and every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. I heard some of the other customerscommenting how good their dishes were. Every dish we had was fantastic. Lots of friendly helpful attention from our weightstaff of Dominic, Jennifer, and Sam. They made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Did I mention this restaurant isBYOB… Which is really fun. We were given a wine bucket for our beer to keep it nice and cold and all the proper glasses. Iwould strongly suggest you try this restaurant out… You will not be disappointed!

Bread was excellent, crusty, warm. My girlfriend's chicken dish was done nicely, great flavor. My dish had good flavor, which was shrimp/scallops. It was supposed to come with risotto but I think it may have been rice. The avocadoappetizer was ok, but the avocado was not peeled. Again, flavor very good, but need a few minor improvements.
