Also note that all offers such as brot and additional dumplings are for an additional cost.

We ordered soups main course and desert. We saw , we are here 2 weeks that prices are higher than in the other restaurants in Amarante somde expected also the best After twenty minutes the waitress came with the main dishes, but we offered soup. She told forgot… Than the other waitress m perhaps her chef came and tood her that the fish and beef would be cold and suggested tonnage the soup after the main course. We decided not .We saw the staff was not happy with that.They warned us we had to wait another 15 minutes but no excuses what so ever. The meal was good but not better than we had in other places in Amarante. Interesting was that the desert we asked a semifreddo was not a semifreddo but a hot lavacake with vanille ice. We had to wait so long that we did not complain about it. Than the bill If it was normal or special because not happy we wanted soup before the main course they added extra money 2 euro for the olive oil and 3 euro for the take away bags . We never had in any restaurant to pay for olive oil or take away baskets. If they did it because angry or because standard it both is not a compliment for normally great service in Portugal
