Duck was good... read more Pluses: pretty buildings and gardens. Helpful server. Nice menu. Some appetizers and mains were great. Pavlova is world class. Risotto very good. Duck was good but tough and not warm. Tomato appe and crayfish app were fantastic. Minuses: prices are high (for Portugal) for this quality level. Of two rose wines listed, one was out and the other wasnt cold, and in 20 mins they could not make it cold, so they finally told us we couldnt have it, even though we'd chosen our entrees based on it. Also, the wines were standing up on a shelf...not the way to store them. So the restaurant has subpar wine skills. Fyi-it is continental cuisine, not all P'guese.

The appetizers were very good, and the mushroom risotto was fabulous. dessert was an excellent pumpkin petit gateaux with cheese ice cream. Well worth the price, although it is pricier than other options in the regision
