The Mom is the C... read more We were recommended to come here by the concierge at Vidago Palace. We were not disappointed! It is a small local restaurant run by one family. The Mom is the Chef, and the Dad runs the front of the house, while their son took our order and made delicious recommendations! We wanted a salad that was not on the menu and they brought us out a salad family style that was perfection...fresh and lightly dressed with white vinegar and olive oil. Then we all shared Portuguese Grilled Chicken with Piri Piri sauce...it was AMAZING! The desserts were homemade by Mom, the Chef...were all fresh and delicious. Ultimately, if we were in town longer we would have definitely eaten there again!! The price compared to a meal of that quality in the US was quite reasonable.
