Then one day in late May 2019 we... read more Like most people visiting Alvor on holiday, we passed this establishment on many occasions going to and from our accommodation. Then one day in late May 2019 we popped in for a coffee , and then later in the evening we dropped in for a drink. The service was friendly and prompt, and anyone who really enjoys their beer, and I do, will love it in here. It's served up in a nice glass and chilled to perfection, and for the ladies, the gin and tonic is well presented, you'll love it. We returned to Alvor late September 2019, and of course to this wee bar which is a now must visit for us when we come here on holiday. Give it a try, it's not just for the locals and the prices are very reasonable.

We have been here twice now, the first time we couldn'... read more So, so very disappointing when I see the previous feedback on this snack bar on the main road into Alvor. We have been here twice now, the first time we couldn't get a sandwich because they had run out of bread! Today we just popped in for a coffee, (as they obviously might not have food! , the service was dreadfully slow, the guy serving us was miserable and disinterested, and served another table that arrived 5 minutes after us before serving us!! Don't worry, we definitely won't be back!!!!
