This is a fantastic place with friendly staff and reasonable prices! Their barbecue is amazing, and my personal favorite is the incredible smoked bologna sandwich with cheese and onion. You should definitely give it a try—you won’t regret it! View all feedback.
What Khaleesi Targaryen dislikes about Split Tree Barbecue:
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while on a road trip. Ordered the pulled pork plate, the pigtato. How food was hot, just ok.. My pugtato was cold, not so great. The best part of the food was the bbq beans. The women’s restroom (used after we ordered paid for food) was not clean, hand soap was out, papa er towel dispenser was not working. When a lunch/dinner place opens for breakfast something has got to be wrong!!!... View all feedback.
Split Tree Barbeque serves up delicious food, exceptional service, and a relaxed, rustic vibe. My partner and I enjoy dining in or getting takeout from here. I highly recommend trying the chopped barbecue with gold sauce, the corn cakes, and their mac and cheese. There's a large parking lot with plenty of spaces, but be careful—it can be easy to miss the entrance to the parking area.
This restaurant is a great option for large groups. However, if it's particularly busy, you might want to skip the corn cakes to get your order faster.
Every time I go to this restaurant, it feels like it keeps improving! You absolutely have to try the brisket, sweet pepper slaw, and jalapeño corn cakes—they're amazing! I used to believe that the best BBQ was only in Clarksville, TN, but now I find myself coming here all the time. It's just so tasty!
Ordered pulled Barbeque plate with two sides. The cole slaw was the junk you buy in a grocery store and it was bad. The Barbeque Beans were more of a bean soup and another disappointment. Finally, the barbeque was lathered with so much generic sauce that I could not taste it. I think it could have been good. Very expensive lunch. Will not return. Meal type: Lunch
I’ve seen this place for several years and finally got the chance to try it. Atmosphere is exactly what I’ve come to expect of a BBQ restaurant. Comfortable feel, country, and smells of heaven. We stopped in on a Sunday late lunch and tried the pulled pork, brisket, and a BBQ baked potato. The potato was more of mashed potatoes fixed up with beans, pork, and cheese on top. The small was a large plate, more than she could eat. Good flavor overall, a bit too much nacho cheese. The brisket sandwich was a little dry but had good flavor. Sauces were pretty good, four to choose from, a sweet (baby rays), mild, hot, and mustard base. The pulled pork my son ordered was very dry. Overall just below average on the food but it may have been an off day. I’ll definitely try again.
