Piacere /Carpaccio Bar & Champagne Room

I went to this restaurant on a week night, after a busy day. They specialize in carpaccio, which is a nice light meal for dinner. I ordered the beef carpaccio that comes with the truffle oil, and I special ordered a second they did not...have in the menu, after they explained the sauces they had I went for a blue cheese one. For my surprise, to both carpaccio lime juice was added. In many places I’ve gone, they add lime to the carpaccio, I do not like it as I prefer creamy sauces with it, but I can eat it. However, and a very big however, truffle oil with lime??? It killed the flavor of the truffle oil, of the very expensive truffle oil. Second carpaccio, blue cheese… and lime juice. I wanted to kill somebody. Where in earth some mixes truffle or blue cheese with lime. Hideous. Horrendous. Horrible. It is a very Mexican custom to add lime to everything, but here the crossed the line. And when the bill came they charged me a higher prices than what was listed in the menu. Don’t waste your money or time in this place. Better go to the Vapiano un front of them to have a proper carpaccio.
