The odysseus is a family-run Greek restaurant in the old town of ketsch, where a German was apparently (as so often) locally converted into a Greek with German interieur. what is known here, they have left the jelly church baroque and then added Greek graceful elements like for example on rustic stone walls made of gips, many ancient fresco famous heroes who say, and every amount of pictures on the wall and small crimsons on all laien. there is something missing from a concept I think. the publikum consisted of older semesters (on Sunday afternoon.) the service received me and my guide very friendly, everything was somehow family. we have set ourselves. when the beautifully made card was made, we first noticed the enormous number of dressed. there was almost everything from the typical Greek food for the gypsy carving. that is difficult to achieve, in which the kitchen has to compromise with such a thing, to offer everything. the price situation is more favourable for the drinks, with the dressed temperate, a large part of the main dishes lies between 13 and 17 eur. I ordered a lamb lobe with salat, green beans and bratkartoffeln, the accompaniment chose a taumelsteak (both,) with salat, pommes and rice. the ordered juice choir came quickly, along with a ouzo and two minutes later the salat was brought. the consist of two leaves lollo rosso in the middle, then still bohnensalat, möhrensalat grouped with a creamy sauce and zaziki around. slightly murian reaction on my part: the salat sauce was made on a basis of a finished sauce (they recognize the microscopically small spicy tents everywhere and the emulsified vinegar oil mixture naturally) that is very bad, because the salat comes first on the table and is as much as the visit card of the restaurant. a finished sauce can be suitable for a cooking home, but in the restaurant? the two main dishes came approx. 10 15 min after ordering, so fast. the keule was nicely upright in the teller and good and long baked, she was really tender. the green beans, on the other hand, went into the slightly brownish, were not really freshly blanchded and then deleted what the color would have received. they were too soft and at some corners still cold. they were not fully heated. the bratkartoffels were well roasted, but also a little soft. the tweebel steak consisted of two hand-sized 2 cm thick pieces, which were thick covered with (fresh) fried wimpers. there was an extra deep plate full of pommes and drinking. at the pommes noticed that they seemed lightly glazed/practice they were simply very fat and possibly the frit was not hot enough. about the white rice one had a kind of zigeunersauce (I had initially mentioned the compromise, which in such a case must make a kitchen.) so no tomato pieces in the rice vegetable garden, which melt easily, connect with the rice and remove some of the harder to think as one expected or hoped. the meat was good and delicate, but a little dry. we were at the end more than satt, thankfully took the ouzo and paid, together about 32 eur. if written on another place, that is the best mourning in ketsch, I can agree to him, it is the only one at the place.

A grieving as he says in the book. very good and plentiful eating. always friendly and well maintained. recommended
