If you don't eat mushrooms, order it without, it's that good. I had it three times in three weeks while in town. Also, big beautiful perfectly fried onion rings!

Looks like place is well worn, like if it ain't broke don't fix it. I liked the bar area. Nice. Still 5 stars because food was good, friendly staff, decor doesn't matter to me. Just added in case it does to some. If it does, you will miss out on the good food.

Well, this is NOT happening... read more At a time when customer service is not always the best and many restaurants are so short employees that customer service suffers... Well, this is NOT happening at Johnson's Corner! Since April 2020, Johnson's has delivered my beautiful mother to the law twice a week faithfully warm dinner, usually from one of her long time waitress, Dena. This is not a service they normally offer, but because it is tied at home, they have made this a priority. Dena is amazing. We speak twice a week and she helps me decide what the best item would order for Mom this day. With Mom's sinking health, Dena has adapted its delivery pattern and will occasionally drop something she has done and wanted to share over the weekend. Not because she has to, but because she wants. Johnson's Corner Owner Jimmy Cathy are family but Dena is now also! Thank you for being an invaluable part of the Alton/Godfrey community and taking care of your neighbors.
