Contribute Feedback What Gina Bond likes about Explorers Pizza And Pasta Buffet:
In my opinion, one of the biggest mistakes Alton Towers has made is removing major fast-food chains like McDonald's. The burger shacks just don't offer good quality food; I've tried them a few times and have always been disappointed. I even started bringing my own picnic because part of a day out should include enjoying nice food. However, this time my friend and I decided to try the pizza and pasta restaurant, which... What Sam Bennett doesn't like about Explorers Pizza And Pasta Buffet:
The pizza tasted like a Tescos own frozen pizza. Definitely not worth £17, it wasn't even worth £1. If you like cold, cheap, tasteless oven pizza, this is the place for you. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
"During peak hours, you have to enter through the main entrance. They offer table service, and you can also order online. The menu is straightforward, which is perfect for a quick lunch while on the road. However, drinks are pricey, with a carton costing £1.70. The food smells amazing, but unfortunately, the place was quite dirty, especially with kids around. The pasta was also stone cold around the edge of the plate, although it was still edible. Overall, I found it to be a bit pricey at £11."
If you’ve been to the Legoland pizza place, this is quite similar. The buffet price is reasonable, especially if you use a Merlin Pass for a discount. They offer a gluten-free (GF) pizza base along with a selection of made-to-order toppings. I must say, compared to many high street pizza chains, this gluten-free base is actually quite good. The wait time is about 10-15 minutes, which is pretty decent. I ordered two pizzas and ended up eating both! For everyone else, there’s a great variety of pizzas available, and the prices for pasta and salad are also good. Plus, you get unlimited Coke drinks!
The pizza and pasta at this restaurant in one of the Merlin theme parks were exceptionally well-maintained. It was one of the best experiences I've had; the pizza was perfect, and the staff were outstanding. I couldn't find any faults with it!
After seeing some of the reviews, I have to say that I thought this place is great. exactly what they need in the midst of their day, all staff are extremely helpful and friendly special cries that were really so beautiful. eating is delicious, my gluten-free pizza was as great and just like the 'normal' pizza, they make the gf fresh and are very aware of allergies. very recommend this for some good, hot, classic eating with large staff.
My favourite place to eat when visiting Alton Towers. Fairly priced and great food. You can have as little or as much as you like, the buffet is well laid out with plenty of choice. Fills you up for the day!
