The photos are... read more It's been a few years since I visited this fine restaurant, but looking at the photos it doesn't look like it's changed and that's a good thing! The photos are bringing back fine memories. I was with a working party and it was a set...meal from the chef and wine choice from his wife. I have to say it is my best single eating and drinking experience of my life! The food and wine was second to none. a perfect food and wine evening I will never forget. I would visit the same region again, purely for this restaurant. Perfect experience.

After choosing to dine in the lovely garden area we were greeted by the chef who made fantastic recommendations and talked us through...all courses. The food was faultless, every course as good as the last. Difficult to imagine a better dining experience in the local area so very highly recommended.

Gottfried is in service in the kitchen and ingrid, his wife. Ingrid has an enormous knowledge in wines and can give you fantastic recommendations... pair wine with food. Gottfried is not only in the kitchen, he is often visible in the restaurant and speaks with his guests. It is a pleasure to observe it, recommend cheese. The whole dinner is an event. We never had a court that is not prepared for the highest standards. I understood that the Bachlers also offer seminars and workshops. Something to think about for our next visit. We will definitely come back.
