I ordered a prawn and scallop tortellini. It arrived with a sauce that was not not even lukewarm. So I sent it back and it was returned and still wasn’t hot. They didn’t even bother giving me cutlery and acted annoyed when I asked for it. Really concerned that food is not heated up sufficiently so I left my whole meal. Despite this, I was given a full bill with no apology whatsoever. This was a horrible experience and I am disgusted that they took my money without even showing any care or interest in why the food was left. What an expensive mistake!!! Choose one of the many other lovely restaurants in Altea. This was a rip off for horrible food.

The view from the t... read more Despite historic reviews on here advising to advice the place, we enjoyed our visit. The steak was cooked well and was generously portioned. The view from the terrace was worth the 10min wait for a table to be free. Lots of locals eat here which is positive. Staff were not great, but the restaurant was busy and they were running around. Service was therefore efficient if a little lacking in smiles! Reasonably priced for the location and setting.
