Terrible... no, worse!!!!
Absolutely shocking service. As a group of six four of us were served starters and mains all at once and two were left with no food at all. We questioned this after 15 minutes and were told one minute, and ordered more drinks. Five minutes later we were informed that one of the starters was no longer available, despite moments later a table next to us which had just arrived being given the exact dish. Another 25 minutes later and the two left with no food ever arriving, or the additional drinks. The staff then came out and told us there food was coming, were annoyed with us that they had left, and did not accept our complaints. No apology was offered and they expected us to pay for their food (although removed it from the bill in the end). When the bill arrived and I politely paid I was met with 'ok ' I 've been coming to altea for 20 years and have never had such a poor experience at any of the restaurants. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant.
