We discovered this restaurant with my colleague during our business trip thanks to some positive reviews and as we didn´t have time to visit places in the centr... read more We discovered this restaurant with my colleague during our business trip thanks to some positive reviews and as we didn´t have time to visit places in the centre of Altamura we appreciated its position outside the centre, easily reachable by car. The local is rather small, with too many table and places so it becomes very noisy when it´s full, neither the ventilation is perfect, so you don´t feel very well. Regarding the food, the problem is the selection, probably there are no menus, at least during the lunch time it was like that. You have to ask the waiter what´s on the menu. Then when chosing everything is OK. The food was awesome, really a nice experience (taking regional typical fave and cicorie and pasta). However then you need to pass another negative step which is the payment. Having no menu you are confronted with a decision of the owner who then writes a sum on the receipt which you need to pay. Well, the sum we paid was fine, but using some menu, everything could be better. Nevertheless, the restaurant is good, if you avoid all these other issues and concentrate only on the food itself, then it´s perfect. It could be perfect also in general with some will.

Unfortunately I am unable to describe the... read more In this restaurant I enjoyed the Italian cuisine and the culinary tradition of this beautiful area of southern Italy. Unfortunately I am unable to describe the menu that the chef has served me. I can report, however, that the first course (pasta stuffed with tomato sauce) was fantastic, the second course (meat) was sublime and the third plate (cake) was special. Thanks to my friend Stefano, who has brought me into this place, I understood the goodness of the Mediterranean diet.
