One of the best local farms, with a store, hayrides for the kids, fresh apple cider and donuts, and a restaurant that was new to me, as I have not been to the farm in a couple years. The place is still relatively the same as when I first came here as a kid, and I definitely got that nostalgia hit when we pulled up. Had one of the best Ruben sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. What Steven Schwartz doesn't like about Indian Ladder Farms Cidery And Brewery:
A place for picking apples and drinking cider. A mediocre brewery with only 3 types of beer on tap when I visited. Despite being of different styles they all basically tasted the same. Some limited food choices. A big operation where you pick pumpkins and eat donuts depending on the season but not a beer destination. View all feedback.
Atmosphere was great but service was very, very slow and food was cold when it arrived. Food was good cold though so can only imagine how much better it would have been if it had been at least warm.
I was really excited to try this place but was every disappointed. The scenery was very nice but the food was terrible. The descriptions were very deceptive, we order the turkey apple just to wait 30 minutes for a deli sandwich (which is not what we thought it was) and fries that were so over cooked I could not break them. The pictures online also made the fries look hand cut and fresh which is not the case. Instead they were overcooked and looked to have been frozen. Over all the food was not worth the wait or the price.
The food is decent. However, we waited at our table over 70 minutes for our food to arrive. We already waited 40 minutes for a table. It’s not just a Saturday evening rush. My friend was here on Wednesday night and said, “there wasn’t much service.” The prices are too high for service this slow. Actually, even less expensive prices don’t make up for a 70 minute kitchen delay. No apology from the waitress either.
Stopped in for lunch on Labor Day. We sat outside. Food and drink, both delicious, Service was a bit relaxed but all in all a positive experience.
Stopped in during a Sunday drive and I am so glad we did. We were seated quickly under the pergola. There were plenty of tables available. Our waitress Lisa was very pleasant. We decided on an iced coffe for my wife I had the peach cider. We split the lamb burger. We originally had our eyes on the salt and pepper fries. The burger came with the fries. We started with the fries. All the fries were done perfectly. Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. After we finished about half the fries we started on the burger. What's can I say but delicious. The flavors worked perfectly. Outstanding. The peach cider was remarkably good. The flavor was not sweet at all. I would absolutely do the peach cider again. They mistakenly give me an IPA but quickly realized that it was go someone else. They let me keep the Ipa. I'm not a huge fan of ipas but it was good. Perfect afternoon stop in the summer!!
