I’m especi... read more We absolutely adore this restaurant! It's our family's go-to spot for Mexican food in the Alpine area. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. I’m especially fond of their green sauce, while my husband can't get enough of the red sauce! I recently noticed the restaurant has boarded-up windows due to what seemed to be a fire. Our thoughts and well wishes are with the Tapitio's team during this reconstruction phase. We’re going to miss you while you’re closed!

You did not get guacamole its pretty smooth as a saucethan a dip. We stopped there when we went back to San Diego. Taco bowls a tad greedy, but GREAT portions.

Everything was great and the staff was very friendly and nice. They also gave us ordering suggestions that were spot on.

The terrace area was lovely for dining. The prices were reasonable. You really can't go wrong here. We'll definitely be trying the carne asada again.

It's worth the drive though. I'll be coming out here a lot more often. The carne asada and the surf and turf were also great! I'll need to try more so I can see what else is good, but so far, not a single thing to complain about.
