There might be a bit of a wait, but the food is surprisingly excellent. We usually order the beef tacos and queso, and they are much better than they sound.
Place your order and pick it up when you reach the window, even if there’s a car in the drive-thru lane.
It was a wonderful experience! During my recent visit to the city, I dined at The Cottage several times and tried the best burrito filled with beans. It was incredibly delicious and fresh! My wife ordered the "works," and she was very impressed with the flavor and quality. I also indulged in the famous Texas Tater, and I must say, nothing in Alpine compares to it. I ended up going back multiple times during my stay in the area!
