Sad but I have to share, we have been coming here for many years, the place is dirty! The table was dirty and the rug was super sticky yuk! Food was good and the chef was cool but the servers were terrible. I just can’t get past how dirty it was especially for what we paid! Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
The legendary Kiku Alpine STILL lives up to its name. Today 's visit was a gentle reminder why I prefer the original Alpine over the secondary Paramus. To some, they might be the same thing, but no, they 're not. The atmosphere, the food, and the service are all way better in Alpine, as if the staff are being properly watched over by the responsible manager. Since the early 90s (my first visit), the food 's been great, portions are generous, and the shows are always impressive. Kiku had been one of my favorite, and it 's now one of my children 's favorite places to eat out. Paramus left me with bitter taste several times over the years, including messing up the reservation TWICE and making me wait for over 45 minutes, saying that my table is being setup, until they admitted that they had messed up my reservation. Both times, I ended up going to Alpine and was served right. Weird, because I 'm by biased, but things just worked out the way it did.
