We are visitors from out of town, staying in a hotel and looking for a good spot to eat and watch the NBA Finals. We stumbled upon this restaurant and we are glad we did. The food was excellent and the staff was amazing. The BBQ was delicious, but what really stood out were the beans - they were some of the best beans I have ever tasted. I have been to many BBQ restaurants and the beans usually taste the same, good but nothing unique. The only downside was the price, but good BBQ places are rarely cheap. Overall, the atmosphere and food were fantastic. I would give this place a rating of AAAAA.
The à la carte style menu is a bit pricey for barbecue, but they have an incredible sauce.
My husband and I were on our way back from celebrating our anniversary in Terlingua when we stumbled upon Come and Take It BBQ. We decided to stop for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service and delicious food. The staff was very friendly, and we even bought some t-shirts before leaving. We will definitely be stopping by anytime we are in the area again.
This restaurant is fantastic. It has a very authentic Texas vibe and there was even a live band playing while we dined.
The BBQ at this restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. They have a good selection of beer. It can be difficult to find the place in the dark, so they should consider improving their signage and adding a spotlight.
