Monkey 68 Kitchen - Alpharetta
Monkey 68 Kitchen
Description
This restaurant offers a delightful fusion of flavors, with standout dishes like the crab spring rolls, bang bang shrimp, and mushroom risotto. Diners rave about the intimate atmosphere, making it ideal for special occasions. However, a recurring theme in guest experiences highlights ongoing issues with service and management, often described as inattentive and unwelcoming. Reservations can be misleading, leading to rushed dining experiences, and encounters with staff can vary. While the food impresses, patrons may find themselves longing for improved hospitality to match the culinary excellence. Ultimately, it’s a destination worth considering, but with caveats.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight at Monkey 68 in Alpharetta. The wagyu dumpling special was very tasty. We loved the rolls, especially Sex in the City, New Spiderman, and Love Me Tender. Can’t wait to come again and try more rolls. Service was outstanding! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I thought the food was good. The restaurant has nice ambiance. It took 1 hour and 57 minutes to order takeout. That's way too long. They did offer me some edamame for my wait but that's too little. Something should have come off my bill. I ordered two drinks at the bar as well while I was waiting. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–50
Really excellent sushi and the happy hour deals are awesome. Highly recommend the crudo. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
Great options for sushi and drinks. Super friendly staff. I slightly prefer the Roswell location, but everyone else seems to as well since the Roswell spot is always more crowded on a Friday night. The drink with mezcal and the peppercorn shrub (alsocalled a buzz button) is my favorite if they have it. It's such a unique flavor sensation. The hidden dragon is also a greatsmoked old fashioned. Awesome rolls, too?
