Beautiful location, robust Alpine food - but erratically alternating between charming and unaccountably and positively charmless service. Unfortunately, the charmless won. The abiding impression was that they were doing us a favour by permitting us to eat there. They were very busy but that is no excuse. There are better and more charming places and refuges around. For example, try L'Etable or the Refuge de Frience. View all feedback.
Wonderful location, perfect for a break after either a good trekking or biking trip. Very nice meals, typical, tasty and fresh. Remember to bring with you cash because they do not accept credit cards.
Following recommendation from the tourist office we decided to have something to eat here before going for a small hike. It was just what we were looking for...very typical Swiss chalet and great food. The Rostï was one of the best i have ever had!...In my opinion the prices were a bit too high for what we had, but the great atmosphere and quality of food made up for it. Very nice little rest stop
Superb refuge close to Villars sur Ollon. Views are gorgeous in the summer you can eat on the terrasse. The raclette at night is a must with a nice fendant. We will go back
Stopped en route having come up from Solalex. Peaceful modest (mountain) restaurant. Staff friendly and efficient. Worth a stop
