The food is fabulous, but it does take some time to prepare. The server is courteous and professional.

I gave this restaurant 5 stars 4 years ago, and the food is still excellent (5 stars for the food as not many Japanese restaurants serve beef as well as this one). However, the waitress's attitude is now very poor (it used to be good). She lied to me while taking my order, and when I checked with her boss, she twisted her words and blamed me, saying that I was lying to her boss. It seems she didn't expect me to verify what she said with her boss. Additionally, when my group of 6 asked to combine a 4-person and 2-person table, the boss and waitress insisted we sit separately, even though they allowed us to combine our bills. The food is still good overall, but I recommend using a voice recorder when placing orders to avoid disputes with the waitresses. I rate this restaurant 1 star instead of 5 stars because of the poor service, but I can assure you that the food is delicious and the waitresses are polite as long as there are no issues.

This is the oldest Japanese restaurant in Alor Setar, with a history of about 20 years! The Japanese food here is delicious and reasonably priced compared to other popular franchises in Malaysia. My family has been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and we still come here for dinner every one or two months. While most dishes remain the same, the prices have gone up over time due to economic pressures. The only downside is that there can be a wait for your meal to be served after ordering, as there are not many cooks (the boss and his family handle most of the cooking, maintaining a 99.9% hygienic standard). Sometimes it can get crowded, and you may have to wait for up to an hour while watching others enjoy their food and listening to your stomach growl. Overall, it's still worth a visit if you enjoy Japanese cuisine and happen to be traveling in Kedah.

We were looking for something different than outlet restaurants like sushi king and sushi zanmai. Googled this place and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was surprisingly good. The interiors were homey. We would definitely go there again.
