What Kelsie V doesn't like about Dr. Feelgood's Pub:
Regulars bar. Friendly staff. Nice beer selection. Did not eat here. I used their WI-FI. Talked to a couple regulars. I felt welcome. Sports bar in a Aloha strip mall, not too shabby for my standards. $4 for a 23oz Mug -Microbrew, pretty good deal. Better than ordering a pint for $3. This is during Happy Hour. View all feedback.
I know of an incident where someone was denied entry at this bar because they had a service animal with them. Upon their arrival, a female bartender abruptly told them, "You're not bringing that animal in here." The individual explained that it was a service animal, but the bartender insisted, "It doesn't matter; the owner doesn’t allow any animals here, service animals or pets." If this bar genuinely cares about people with disabilities, I would recommend reconsidering any plans to visit. It also raises concerns about whether the owner understands that such a policy violates federal law, which could expose them to legal action.
This is a standard bar with a welcoming staff and a great beer selection. While I didn’t try the food, I took advantage of their Wi-Fi and struck up conversations with a few regular patrons who were incredibly friendly. The bar is situated in a strip mall in Aloha, and I found it quite enjoyable by my standards. They offer a 23oz mug of microbrew for just $4, which is an excellent deal, especially when you compare it to a $3 pint. Since I was there during Happy Hour, it was an even better value!
The food used to be incredible, but unfortunately, that's no longer true. I'm not sure if they've changed their suppliers or what, but something has definitely shifted. On top of that, the chef consistently gets my to-go orders wrong.
I popped in here on my way home from running an errand. I am never in this part of town but I was and wanted something not fast food. And fast food it was not. Took 25 min to make two burgers with fries, which isn't great but I wasn't in the mood for fast food so that's on me. The ambiance is very blue lives matter vibe, though I did not experience anything blatantly racist, i absolutely felt as a brown person, like I should not be there after dark. Again, justa feeling. It was sort of comical how everyone ordered ranch dressing as their side. So in the end, the cheese burger was great, truly. I wouldn't bring a date here unless they want to drown their sorrows in ranch, but for take out, as long as you don't mind waiting.... Not a bad place to grab and GET OUT!!!
