A fine grilled sol... read more A fortunate choice, as it turned out. Excellent fish and seafood chowder, with plenty of flavour and very warming on a rather chilly evening. A fine grilled sole, kindly filleted at the table, and a nice enough tuna steak, although it could have been a little more rare or even tataki on the inside. Very pleasant, attentive service from the moment we walked in, some time before the kitchen opened, and the crowning glory was the broad grin on the barman’s face when we returned to the restaurant breathlessly an hour or two later, after we finally noticed that my wife’s camera had been left behind on the back of a chair. They made us fe... read more This restaurant was very near our hotel so we tried it as the weather wasn’t brilliant. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. They made us feel very welcome and we were offered drinks immediately whilst perusing the menu. The menu is varied and my fish dish was beautifully cooked and the subtle sauce was delicious. My husband had the lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend this place for its lovely food,cheerful friendly staff and great atmosphere

My husband had... read more Decided to try this restaurant on our last night in Almunecar and Wow were we pleased we did!! The value and quality of the food was outstanding. My husband had the Iberico pork, I had the largest tuna steak I have ever seen and my son chose his steak from a chiller where they were all on display. Waiter was very attentive and helpful with making our choices. All that food, 4 glasses of wine, coke, 2 coffees all for 65 euros amazing! Highly recommended
