Was robbiemcd at Toruno a mag?
Excellent lunch under the olive tree outside. A traditional menu of Andalusian dishes done very well with excellent service. Recommend the cazuela de pescado and the ensalada de jamon de pato con vinagreta de arandanos. Even the vegetarian of the group was pleased. View all feedback.

Excellent tradional Andalucía food. In the restaurant there is also great views to the lake and the flamingos. Prices are reasonable, service is good and be aware that the portions are more than big enough and can be shared . Especially the starters. We ender up with a doggybag and enjoyed it on the trio the day after.

We’d found this place earlier in the day and been thrilled to have a proper cup of tea !! There is a huge restaurant overlooking the lagoon but for our evening meal we were only offered the bar area which was perfectly ok . One of us had a huge tender steak, another the beef stew which was also enormous but just beef and gravy . Two duck legs came with veg only average . Potatoes been warmed up too often. Reasonable price for an acceptable meal .

This restaurant was linked to our hotel and had good reviews so we looked forward to trying it. Being English we were there earlyish by Spanish standards. We were escorted past some nice table near the bar into an area which was sandwiched between the kitchen and ‘main’ restaurant a nicer raised area with large windows out. We were not allowed in there but there was plenty of space the whole time we were there. Our table was near the kitchen door with a full view of the dishwashing activity. The door was often open so we had sound effects too. Behind me was the bar covered in spare plates and cutlery. Our cloth had holes and the table laid with a plate each with napkin. Bread was delivered with tongs sort of ‘fired at us’ onto the plates. The bread hard, cold and left uneaten. As soon as we ordered our mains the plates were taken and bread tipped onto the cloth also why not touched. The food arrived very promptly. I had goose with fruit sauce and my husband had peppered venison. The food was fine. But the total lack of atmosphere, of eye contact or engagement by staff and kitchen view made it a pretty miserable meal. The guy eating alone behind us was whisked through two courses of croquettes and postre in under 20 mins with his cloth being whisked away before he had managed to get his credit card back in his wallet. It was all unbelievably brusque. When we left there was no thanks or goodbye or anything. I have never been anywhere where I have felt less welcome. Unfortunately I do not have the Spanish to politely suggest a little friendliness would go a long way so found myself as keen to leave as they’d are to push us through.
