Moon - Almería

The food and service here are excellent and significantly better than most surrounding restaurants. Staff are friendly well presented and efficient service. One of best dining venues by some way in Aguadulce and beautiful location by the marina!

The updated Moon hotel is definitely a positive development for the harbor area. Tried the restaurant again for a dinner , they expanded dining capacity beyond the original terrace. But not increased staff and there is no Organisation or supervisor handling the customers in peak times. Took 30 min to get a beer and another 30mins for the starters to arrive. Waiters really tried hard to stay friendly but there were just not enough staff on duty, surprise for a hotel with this aspiration. Food was good but not special. Recommendation would be to enjoy the terrace for tapas in early evening hours

I can’t understand the average reviews. We dined here 2 nights running. The food was exceptional. Between us we enjoyed Thai monkfish curry, lamb chops, fillet and sirloin steaks plus a selection of starters. Nothing disappointed. Each meal was accompanied with our favourite wine Luis Canadian

María de recepción, muy amable. No conozco los demás servicios del hotel. Mi reseña espor la cena de Nochevieja, un desastre. Como ejemplo, decir que nos sirvieron el solomillo después de las uvas. El personal de servicio de la cena, se veía poco profesional y con escasa experiencia, aunque mostraban interés por hacerlo bien. En un momento dado que salí al aseo, al abrir la puerta para salir del comedor, desde el otro lado un camarero pegó una patada a la puerta y casi me rompe el dedo pulgar de la mano derecha. Para la próxima Nochevieja, mucho que mejorar.
