I had the parpadelle ai funghi that were excellent. The place can welcome a lot of people which is good since other tiny restaurant were fully booked the day we went.

It's a 15.20 minute tax... read more If you have a day in Civitavecchia from a long cruise, you would be absolutely delighted to eat at this typical restaurant in Allumiere. It's a 15.20 minute taxi ride up through picturesque hills and flourishing vegetation. The town of Allumiere is so quaint giving you the opportunity to see the main square. The food is EXQUISITE from deer meat, lamb and pork to their pasta plates like their tagliatelle with wild boar. Their soups in the winter time are to die for! Desserts are always a wonderful surprise. You cannot go wrong eating here and it is so WORTH the kilometers and time. The owners are friendly, helpful and overall FANTASTIC!!!

The area of this place is very popular for good food but this restaurant is probably the best and definitely the best that I tried in my holiday this year. Food is fresh and delicious! I’ve tried 4/5 dishes,all off them delicious and very creative!! I will visit again for sure!

Our first cour... read more Orsola is the best restaurant in Allumiere and beyond. It’s a cozy spot around a corner with linen tablecloths and napkins. The service is great. Our first course of pasta with fava beans and bacon arrived very quickly. The second course of roasted potatoes done perfectly and cinghiale (wild boar) was delicious! The service was outstanding with three waiters who were very alert and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for the great food served. I highly recommend a visit to Orsola. And thanks Egisto for keeping the food and service first class!
