What ElizabethCarlisl doesn't like about The Salutation Inn:
We popped in on New Year’s Day. No happy greeting from the staff who looked bored. The fire was on which was nice but the two women serving looked as if it was all a bit of an effort. No sugar with the coffee so we had to ask. No smiles. All a bit basic. Won’t be back. View all feedback. What Andrew likes about The Salutation Inn:
Visiting the village for the 3rd time in the last 4 years and we've eaten here 3 times in the last 10 days and enjoyed the food. The staff are very friendly and despite being short staffed on a Saturday the guy working was always very helpful despite being run ragged. View all feedback.

read moreThe Salutation Inn offers a mixed experience, with some customers mentioning a lackluster atmosphere and service, while others rave about the outstanding food and friendly staff. There are complaints about the turkey being dry, but others highly recommend dishes like the lamb and duck. The homemade desserts are a hit, with one visitor praising the mango mousse under the fruit salad. The pub serves Italian food for walk-ins and has a light and airy feel with outdoor seating and great views. Overall, reviews are mixed, but it seems worth a visit for the food and friendly atmosphere, especially for dog owners.
